Gossip Girl usually begins with a blog page with the face of Serana on the page. A narrator is always present, using the voice of Kristen Bell. The narrator usually begins with a recap of what happened from the previous episode. The trademark line of the narrator is “Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous loves of Manhattan’s elite”, then she continues and ends her narration with “Where has she been? Serena?” Of course, she never tells who she really is, until now it is kept secret as to her identity in the show.
