Gossip Girl: Momsen and Meester in a Music Feud?

Submitted on December 7, 2009 One Comment

Former Blair (Leighton Meester) from the “Queen Bee of Constance Billiard” has been replaced by Jenny (Taylor Momsen) which creates apprehension both on and off of the set.

Momsen and Meester

It has been revealed that Taylor is very unhappy about Leighton’s music being used for the show, instead of her own creations. Leighton’; s songs have also been used on “Gossip Girl”, but there has been no mention of doing the same for Taylor’s music. According to various gossip sites, Leighton’s pop music is more appropriate for the shows than are Taylor’s punk rock compositions.  If this is truly the reason, the Taylor should realize that this is not a matter of favoritism, but only a need for appropriate music that fits the agendas of the said shows.
