Dan’s sister Jenny is first introduced in the show as a freshman at Constance Billiard. Being a person who likes to go with the flow and not swim against it, Jenny ends up being taken advantage of, by others. As with other girls, Jenny too has secret feelings for Nate. She is very close with her brother, Dan, whom she often needs to make the right decisions on her behalf. Metamorphosing into a fashion designer is Jenny’s ultimate dream, which comes true once her internship at Eleanor Waldorf’s studio is confirmed. But over time, Jenny realizes that she is being taken for a ride by Eleanor and so she starts her own label, J Humphrey Designs along with a model Agnes, in tandem. Unfortunately this move by Jenny back fires and fails completely.
